Chicks one week at home,


I am behind posting these pictures, so not much text today as I am trying to catch up,

lots of feathers already, the California White chicks are a week older that the other 3

these 3 still have a lot of fluff

The little California Whites have really pretty yellow legs

Foxy still has pretty pale legs, wings have feathers now

I was surprised that the Buckeye chicks were getting all those white speckles, since they are supposed to be a pretty even brown color, but I looked at pictures on the internet about Buckeye chicks and they do look like that

Barbie on the left, her legs are starting to get a little green, so maybe she isn't a Delaware?

The chicks are no longer confined to the large dog crate (2 x 4 feet), they now also have a 5 x 5 feet play area

just like last year's chickens, these like to hang out in the entrance to the crate
